SO ITS FINALLY OUT! After what seems like a long (too long) wait, SHINee has finally released the MV for Lucifer! Now, I personally LOVE Lucifer. It was the first SHINee song I liked after 'Stand by me'. So how good is the Japanese version?
THE VIDEO
Its pretty much the same as the Korean one.In some shots they are dancing, in other ones they are walking or standing with the..err.. smoky (?) thing following them around. I guess that would be my only complaint. It's pretty much the same. The only thing different apart from the sets/costumes etc. would be that the..smoky thing is a lot more prominent in this one But i wouldn't necessarily say its a plus point. Score: 4/5
THE DANCE
It was bloody awesome when I first saw it, it is STILL freaking awesome.

THE LOOK
No more psychedelic clothes! Phew! What a relief! Taemin, Taemin.. WHAT were you thinking when you wore that leather hat? I mean, what in the name of God IS that?It does not make any sense whatsoever. And a whip? really, now.. WHY?! But some of the stuff they wear continue to be questionable (Onew's half purple half pink shirt and Key's checkered harem pants for example) proving that SM seriously needs to provide them with a better stylist.The makeup has been toned down, which is nice. Not that I complained in the Korean version, but you get my point.

THE SONG
The tune of the song is super catchy although in all honesty I prefer the Korean version better. For some reason the lyrics just does not sound right. And apparently I am not the only one as a lot of other people have stated the same too. Also, it has been said by a lot of Japanese-speaking shawols that their pronunciation was quite bad, but i will not comment on that since I don't speak Japanese. But the basic meaning of the song has been kept the same.

So in end all I have to say is, SM, you are slowly becoming so perfect at wasting talent, it should be considered an offence. Seriously. Spend some money on new sets, clothes, stylists and songs already! SHINee (and SUJU) deserves a lot more than recycled songs and costumes.

P.S.- Jonghyun still manages to look hot despite the weird costumes SM gives him. True talent right here I tell you :D
